England hammered Hungary 4-0 on Thursday evening, and in such a dominant win there were a few performances that caught the eye.
Raheem Sterling looked brilliant, Jack Grealish showed his class and Harry Kane added another goal to his ever-increasing international tally.
However, one player who caught the eye above everyone else was Declan Rice, and while West Ham fans were inevitably blown away by his showing, he also caught the eye of Leeds supporters.
Leeds fans had a keen eye on what was going on in the middle of the park, with the Yorkshire Pirlo linking up alongside Rice, but they couldn’t help but share their feelings on the West Ham man after his brilliant showing.
There had often been a debate about which player was better, Phillips or Rice, but now that they’ve proven they can play together at international level, it seems as though Leeds supporters are now more than happy to acknowledge just how fantastic a player Rice is.
