Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas have signed new contracts with Leeds United.

Leeds United duo Kalvin Phillips and Luke Ayling have responded positively on Instagram to the club’s decision to hand Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas new contracts.
The Championship club have handed central defender Cooper a five-year contract, while Dallas – who can also operate as a winger or as a full-back – has signed a four-year deal.
Leeds central midfielder Phillips and Ayling – who can operate as a right-back or as a central defender – are pleased to see their two teammates commit their long-term future to the West Yorkshire outfit.
Phillips replied: “Go on the boys!!!”
Ayling replied: “Go on the boy.”
Promotion challenge
Leeds are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season and clinch automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are third in the league table at the moment with 13 points from six matches.
Leeds will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Barnsley away from home in the Championship.
The Whites should comfortably win the match this weekend and pick up all three points from the encounter.
