
90min are reporting that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have significant interest in Philippe Coutinho, a player who is rated highly by Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino.

It is being reported today (10:05am) that Barcelona attacking midfielder Coutinho is ‘of significant interest’ to Arsenal.
The Gunners are looking for an attacking midfielder and have actually reopened talks with Real Madrid over bringing back Martin Odegaard.
The Norway international spent the second half of last season on loan at Arsenal from Madrid.
Philippe Coutinho to Arsenal?
Coutinho has not had the best of times at Barcelona and has also had injury problems, but he was superb during his spell in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old, who can also play as a winger, scored 41 goals in 152 appearances in the Premier League.
Liverpool forward Firmino called his Brazilian compatriot “phenomenal” who has “magical powers”, as quoted on FIFA in October 2020.

Coutinho is 29 now, so in theory he is in his prime.
