Marko Arnautovic is an important player for West Ham United.

The Liverpool legend made the comments following West Ham’s 3-0 win against Southampton at the London Stadium in the Premier League at the weekend.
Arnautovic, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, scored twice for the Hammers on Saturday afternoon, finding the net first in the 16th minute and then on 72 minutes.
The 30-year-old Austria international has made 23 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Hammers this season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
During the 2017-28 campaign, Arnautovic made 28 starts and three substitute appearances in the league for West Ham, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Back in January 2019, Arnautovic’s brother and agent, Danijel Arnautovic, told talkSPORT that the Austrian wanted to leave West Ham and move to a club in China.

Thompson said about Arnautovic on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News on Saturday evening (5:24pm, May 4, 2019): “Away from West Ham. Absolutely. You can’t rely upon someone whose mind is set for anything that might come up every couple of months and he might want to go.
“I see him being a problem in the dressing room when he’s like that. He’s certainly affected them just after the January transfer window.”
