Tottenham Hotspur haven’t spent a penny since January 2018.

Phil Thompson suggested that he is worried by Mauricio Pochettino suggesting that Tottenham need to change their transfer policy, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports.
The Argentine has worked wonders during his time in charge of Spurs, and it could be argued that no other manager would have been able to do the job that he has done on such a stringent budget.
Tottenham have not signed a single player since January 2018, but incredibly, they have managed to remain competitive, with domestically and on the continent.
Pochettino recently suggested, however, that Spurs need to operate differently, if they are achieve success (Sky Sports).
And Thompson suggested that Tottenham fans will be worried by those comments from the 47-year-old boss, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports:

“Pochettino worries me, saying that the club needs to change in terms of the transfer policy and recruitment and he has thrown doubts there, so Tottenham fans have a bit more to worry about if they lose the game.”
Tottenham are, of course, on the verge of creating history, with just Liverpool standing between them and their first ever Champions League trophy.
And whether Spurs are successful or not in Madrid, Pochettino will surely be desperate to splash some cash this summer, in an effort to make his team more competitive in the race for the Premier League title next term.
