Pundit refuses to praise Everton new boy.

Everton had a frenetic transfer deadline day with a double raid on Barcelona among their deals.
The Toffees signed Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes, with the Colombian filling a position of real need in central defence.
Pundit and former Liverpool star Phil Thompson was not so impressed, and told Sky Sports he is not convinced about the centre-back.
Thompson was asked about the move on Sky Sports News, he said: “This guy’s made his reputation on scoring one goal against England at the World Cup.
“There’s a lot more to defending than just scoring a goal. He didn’t get too much game time at Barcelona. They needed bodies through the door.”

Mina actually scored three goals at the World Cup, which was a terrific return from four matches, especially for a centre-back.
Alongside Davinson Sanchez he defended very well at the World Cup and clearly has talent, with Barcelona paying up for him in the first place.
Mina already had a point to prove after a disappointing few months at Barcelona, and doubters like Thompson should gee him up further to be a big Everton success.
