Sky Sports pundit Phil Thompson raved about the performance of Moussa Sissoko’s during Tottenham’s 5-0 win over Bournemouth on Boxing Day.

After the break, the Premier League title challengers added to their tally with striker Harry Kane firing home following a neat pass from Eriksen before Son netted his fourth goal in two matches.

Sissoko, who has started 11 out of his side’s last 12 league matches, was deployed in the middle of the park by Pochettino for the third game running.

After the match, Soccer Saturday regular Thompson heaped praise on the recently improved performances of Tottenham’s star man.

“Another mention for Sissoko, everyone has been talking about,” Thompson told Sky Sports’ Soccer Special programme on 26/12/2018 at 5:35 pm. “I don’t know where this has all come from with him. The pace he has got, his choice of passes from that midfield area is not short of sensational.”
