Manchester United will welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford tomorrow.

Phil Thompson predicted that Roberto Firmino will be the key player during the Manchester United vs Liverpool clash tomorrow, when writing a column for Sky Sports, whilst suggesting that a red card could decide the outcome of the game.
The Red Devils head into the game at Old Trafford one place and two points clear of their bitter rivals, although it could be argued that Liverpool are actually the more in-form side.

Jürgen Klopp possesses of of the most exciting attacking line-ups in European football, and considering their defensive frailties, they will surely have to take the game to United, if they are to have any chance of winning the contest.
Jose Mourinho is well renowned for making his teams hard to beat, however, so tomorrow’s clash could very well be a cagey one.
Thompson, who made 340 league appearances for the Merseyside outfit, suggested that Roberto Firmino will have a key role to play for his side when they face United at Old Trafford tomorrow, when writing a column for Sky Sports:

“My big thing in this game is that I think there will be a red card, which could decide which way it goes. I would think Roberto Firmino will be the key man. I know Mohamed Salah scores the goals but when Firmino plays well he holds the ball up, drawing fouls, he brings the quicker players into play.”
The Brazilian has been in superb form for the Reds this season. He has chipped in with 22 goals and 13 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions thus far, and he is integral to everything good that Klopp’s side do.
Tomorrow will be a real test for Firmino and Liverpool, but they will be buoyed by the fact that they can leapfrog United into second with a win.
The game kicks off at 12:30, and can be seen exclusively live on Sky Sports.
