West Ham suffered second defeat of the season after losing 3-2 against Southampton.
West Ham United suffered their second Premier League defeat of the season after suffering a heart-breaking 3-2 defeat against Southampton at St Mary’s.
The Saints took the lead after 10 minutes when Manolo Gabbiadini instinctively side-footed past Joe Hart.
Dusan Tadic made it 2-0 from the penalty spot after Steven Davis was brought down by Jose Fonte.

Prior to that, West Ham had gone down to 10 men after Marko Arnautovic was sent off for elbowing Jack Stephens.
Javier Hernandez scored two goals to restore parity, but the Hammers conceded again as Charlie Austin scored from the spot in stoppage time.
Former Liverpool player and now popular Sky Sports pundit, Phil Thompson, has criticised Arnautovic, who joined West Ham this summer for a club-record fee of £25 million, as reported by The Guardian.
“Oh my goodness, you stupid man!” yelled Thompson in the Soccer Saturday Studio (Sky Sports live blog: 15:33). “He has put West Ham in an incredible position.”
Dean Saunders also criticised the former Stoke City player while analysing the game on BT Sports, saying he has let his teammates down.
West Ham have now lost back to back games in the Premier League, and conceded seven goals already.
