The Arsenal man was in the thick of things at the KCOM Stadium.

Phil Thompson has selected Alexis Sanchez as Arsenal’s Man of the Match in Saturday’s 4-1 win at Hull City, speaking to Sky Sports.
The Chilean was credited with opening the scoring at the KCOM Stadium when Alex Iwobi’s effort clipped off him and beat Eldin Jakupovic.

Sanchez probably should have scored an indisputable second from the penalty spot before the break, but Jakupovic kept him out from 12 yards.
Nevertheless, Arsenal found a second early in the second period through Theo Walcott, before Sanchez blasted home a third after Robert Snodgrass pulled one back.
Granit Xhaka completed the scoring in fine fashion by thumping home from the guts of 30 yards in the closing stages. The former Barcelona man did look heavily involved throughout, and Thompson has told Sky Sports that he was his stand-out performer.

“My man of the match was Alexis Sanchez; got two goals, quite involved and missed a penalty kick as well – I don’t know why he was taking it. But he was very lively and deserved that award.”
Fortunately for the Gunners, Sanchez is beginning to look like his old self again following a slow-ish start to the season. He has started up front recently, but Olivier Giroud’s return should see him start on the wing again in the near future.
