Dani Ceballos and Mesut Ozil were in action for Arsenal against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend.

The Liverpool legend made the comments about Ceballos – signed on loan from Spanish and European giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window – following the Premier League game between Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Saturday afternoon.
Thompson was also impressed with the display produced by German attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil, as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Thompson said on Sky Sports News (5:48pm, November 2, 2019): “Mesut Ozil played today, and I think he did really well.
“He was a good link-up player that you see. But you still felt that they were a little bit flaky. There wasn’t enough. Ceballos, I don’t really think he’s doing enough to warrant playing in this side.”
