Tottenham Hotspur ended the Premier League season in the Champions League places, whilst Everton finished in the top 10.

Sky Sports pundit Phil Thompson has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur ace Christian Eriksen had ‘a bit of shocker’ during Spurs’ 2-2 draw with Everton on Sunday afternoon.
In what was the last day of the Premier League campaign, Pochettino’s side ended it by recording a point and securing their top-four status.
After opening the scoring early on through Eric Dier, the away team the took the lead with former Arsenal man Theo Walcott one of the players on the scoresheet. Eriksen then netted a free-kick to level the scores.
Speaking to Soccer Special on Sky Sports News (12/05/2019), Thompson admitted that Eriksen wasn’t having his best of games.
“Eriksen has had a bit of a shocker, by the way,” Thompson told Soccer Saturday. “He’s had a shocker but he’s turned it around because he’s scored straight from the free-kick. It’s gone to the side of Pickford where he’s guarding.”
The result and performance of the Tottenham players will not concern the supporters that much because they have just come off the back of one of the greatest nights in their history.
