The Wanderers will head into the match against the Black Cats as strong favourites and are expected to pick up all three points with relative ease.

Wolves have been the best team in the Championship so far this season and seem to be running away with the title.

Nuno’s side are currently at the top of the league table with 47 points from 20 matches, four points clear of second-placed Cardiff City and seven ahead of Bristol City, who are third in the standings at the moment and have a game in hand.

Sunderland, who got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, are in danger of going down to League One at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

The Black Cats are currently second from bottom in the Championship table with just 14 points from 20 matches.

Ahead of match, two Sky Sports pundits, Phil Thompson and Paul Merson, have predicted Wolves to win 3-0, as quoted on Super6.skysports.com.
