The West Ham United stopper has been in excellent form this season.

West Ham legend Phil Parkes spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and offered high words of praise for the ‘outstanding’ Lukasz Fabianski, admitting that he was really pleased when Manuel Pellegrini signed the goalkeeper from Swansea City in the summer.
The 33-year-old joined the Hammers fro just £7 million seven months ago, and he has proven to be a real hit at the London Stadium so far, with a whole host of commanding performances between the sticks for Pellegrini’s side.
West Ham currently sit in 10th spot in the Premier League table, but it doesn’t bear thinking about where they would be if they didn’t have the Polish stopper amongst their ranks.
Fabianski has made 101 saves this season – a Premier League high, and the £7 million that the Hammers parted with to bring him to east London is now beginning to look like an absolute snip.
Parkes, who made 440 first-team appearances for West Ham, raved about the quality of the 33-year-old former Arsenal goalkeeper, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website:

“I was really pleased when West Ham signed Lukasz because, although I didn’t see too much of him when he was at Arsenal, I watched him a lot at Swansea where he was outstanding. What also impresses me about him is that he exudes that calmness, unlike someone like Jordan Pickford, who is buzzing around at a hundred miles an hour!”
West Ham face Fulham at the London Stadium tonight, and Fabianski will be looking to continue his fine form by keeping a clean sheet against the Cottagers.
