Phil Neville believes that Seamus Coleman possesses a mentality comparable to Alexis Sanchez and Luis Suarez.

Phil Neville has told Graham Hunter’s ‘The Big Interview’ podcast, as reported by The Metro, that Everton star Seamus Coleman has the same hunger as the likes of superstars Alexis Sanchez and Luis Suarez.
Coleman was snapped up from obscurity by former Everton manager David Moyes back in the summer of 2009 and the Republic of Ireland international has since managed to develop into arguably one of the best full-backs in the Premier League.
The right-back’s meteoric rise over the years has been nothing short of sensational, and the defender looks set to play a big role in Ronald Koeman’s exciting looking Everton side during the current campaign.

Coleman has earned a lot of admirers for his exploits during his time at Everton so far, and now former teammate Neville has gone on to praise the 27-year-old.
Neville played alongside Coleman at Everton for three seasons, and has explained that the reason for the former Sligo Rovers’ star’s success has been due to his undying hunger which is comparable to the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Luis Suarez, John Terry and Jamie Carragher.
Neville told Graham Hunter’s ‘The Big Interview’ podcast, as reported by The Metro: “Those are street footballers. They’ve come up the hard way. I use the example at Everton of Seamus Coleman. He played for a team in Ireland, bought for £60,000, didn’t go through the academy system.

“I use the example at Everton of Seamus Coleman. He played for a team in Ireland, bought for £60,000, didn’t go through the academy system. ‘Scruffy tracksuit, not matching, no flashy trainers. Came in, he had hunger – he would run through that brick wall.
“And did he have the best ability at the start? No. But he had more determination. Now he’s probably one of the best full-backs in the Premier League. He had the hunger. And Suarez has it. Sanchez at Arsenal. John Terry and Jamie Carragher had it.”
