Sunderland are yet to win a Premier League match this season.

Phil Neville has told the Premier League’s official website that the most important thing that David Moyes can do at Sunderland is to bring stability.
Sunderland have changed managers frequently in recent years, and they have been perennially fighting against the drop.
The Black Cats have found it hard to plan for the long-term and, as a result, they have struggled to progress.

Neville hopes that Moyes can finally put an end to Sunderland’s struggles, and he believes that the Scot is the perfect man for the job at the Stadium of Light.
“He’s picked a club that needs somebody like David Moyes. He’ll bring a lot of stability at Sunderland. He’ll try to bring through the academy players and unearth a gem. The most important thing for Sunderland is to bring stability.”

Neville worked with Moyes at Everton and Manchester United earlier in their respective careers, so he knows the 53-year-old boss well.
Moyes’ start at Sunderland has not gone entirely to plan, with the North East based side’s results being poor.
Sunderland have failed to win any of their first three Premier League matches, and they currently occupy 19th place in the table.
The Black Cats do have a chance to get their first three points later this evening, though, when they take on Everton.
