Morgan Schneiderlin is set to leave Manchester United to join Everton in the near future.
Phil Neville has told Sky Sports, during their live coverage of Manchester United against Hull City on 10th January, that he believes Morgan Schneiderlin will be a good addition for Everton.
The Toffees have agreed a fee with United for Schneiderlin, with personal terms all that is left to be agreed.
The French international is expected to complete a move to Goodison Park in the near future, to become Everton’s second signing of the January transfer window after Ademola Lookman.

And Neville believes that part of the reason why Everton have been able to get Schneiderlin so early on in the month, is because they are due to face Manchester City at the weekend.
“It’s a good signing for Everton,” Neville said. “He’s a good player. His first game comes against Manchester City, which might help Manchester United – and that might be why they have pushed it through so quickly.”

United are looking to catch City in the Premier League, as Jose Mourinho’s side aim to break into the top four.
Schneiderlin is expected to go straight into Everton’s midfield when he arrives on Merseyside, as Ronald Koeman knows the central midfielder well.
The pair worked together earlier in their careers, while they were both at Southampton.
Everton are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table, and go into their match against City on the back of a defeat against Leicester City in the FA Cup.
