Liverpool beat Sunderland 2-0 at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
Speaking on Match of the Day, Phil Neville has criticised Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp for his comments about Sunderland.
Liverpool hosted the Black Cats at Anfield on Saturday looking to continue their push at the top of the table.
Before the game Sunderland manager David Moyes had been frank about his plans to be defensive throughout the encounter.
It was a plan he employed, with the Black Cats sitting deep and looking to frustrate the home side as much as possible.

In the end, it was not a tactic that worked as the Reds ran out 2-0 winners courtesy of goals from Divock Origi and James Milner.
Afterwards, Klopp described Sunderland as the most defensive team his side have faced so far but Neville was not impressed by those comments.
“I think it’s a bit harsh,” he said on Match of the Day.
“For a team like Sunderland to go to Anfield and play wide, expansive football and play out from the back [would be unwise].
“Watford did it a couple of weeks ago and were 3-0 down after 20 minutes. So I think he was being a little bit disrespectful there.”

In the end, Sunderland’s defensive display did not prove to be effective as the Reds went on to secure all three points.
It was their fourth win in their last five games and saw them stay second in the table, just a point behind league leaders Chelsea.
Sunderland, meanwhile, dropped back down to the bottom of the table and remain three points from safety.
