Everton midfielder Ross Barkley has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur recently.

Phil Neville has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 22nd May, that Ronald Koeman is trying to force Ross Barkley out of Everton.
Barkley’s contract saga at Everton has dominated much of the attention at Koeman’s latest press conferences.
The Dutch boss has stated that Barkley had until the end of the season to agree a new deal at Goodison Park, or risk being sold.

Barkley has only one year left on his deal at Everton, and the Toffees do not want to risk losing the England international on a free.
Barkley has still not made his mind up over whether to sign a new deal at Everton or move elsewhere.
And Neville believes that Koeman is hoping that he will be able to sell Koeman in the coming weeks.

“There’s an obsession with Koeman to keep talking about Barkley, every time he has a press conferencem” Neville said.
“It seems to me that he wants Barkley to leave. He looks like he’s trying to push Barkley out the door.
“I think he has probably played his last game for Everton.”
Barkley has had mixed success at Everton since Koeman took charge.
The attacking midfielder was publicly criticised during Koeman’s opening months at the club, but grew into an important player for the Toffees as the campaign progressed.
If Barkley does leave Everton, Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be his most likely destination (Daily Mail).
