Phil Jones says Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is a tremendous talent.

Manchester United and England defender Phil Jones has showered heaps of praise on Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The 25-year-old defender says that Kane is a “gifted player” and a “tremendous talent”.
While Kane didn’t score for Spurs in the month of August, he did break the jinx with two goals for his country against Malta on Friday.

With those two strikes, Kane has taken his international tally to 10 goals from 20 appearances, and Jones believes that the Spurs striker has what it takes to become England’s all-time leading goalscorer.
Wayne Rooney, who recently announced retirement from international football, holds the record of being the top scorer for his country with 53 goals.
Jones believes that Kane can surpass Rooney if the 24-year-old stays fit and keep performing for his club and country.
In fact, Kane has reached the double figure mark four games quicker than Rooney did, and achieved it faster than Zlatan Ibrahimovic (28 matches), Thierry Henry (29), Cristiano Ronaldo (30) and Lionel Messi (33).

“Harry will put Wayne’s record under threat without a shadow of a doubt,” said Jones to Evening Standard.
“He has all the ability in the world to compete at the level Wayne put on the board. If he stays fit and keeps performing for his club, he will score many more goals for his country.
“Harry is a tremendous talent. He is a gifted player, scores goals with both feet and with his head. He has great movement and is strong.”
