The Dutchman has enjoyed a strong start to life at Goodison Park.
Everton captain Phil Jagielka has told the Mirror that there have not been massive changes in their style of play under Ronald Koeman.
The Dutchman took charge at Goodison Park this summer after Roberto Martinez was sacked before the end of last season.
He has enjoyed a strong start to life at the club, with a win and two draws representing their best start to a campaign in a decade.
A noticeable change has been the directness of their play, with the side playing less possession football than they did under Martinez.
However Jagielka says the changes have not been massive under their new manager.
“There hasn’t been anything massive in changing the way we play,” he told the Mirror.
“I don’t think we are playing the ball around as much as we did in our own half, but we are still playing decent football. We have some talented players going forward. It is exciting times ahead.”
It will be interesting to see if Everton start to drastically change their style as the season progresses.
With the transfer window now closed, Koeman knows what players he is working with and can set about implementing his style to a bigger extent.
Given the relative success they have enjoyed in their strong start to the season so far though, many would argue that extensive changes to their style will not be needed.
