Harry Forrester is thought to be leaving Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers this summer.
Southend United boss Phil Brown has opened up to The Southend Echo on his interest in Rangers midfielder Harry Forrester.
The 26-year-old is expected to leave Rangers this summer after manager Pedro Caixinha told him he had no future at Ibrox, according to The Scottish Sun.
HITC Sport reported last month that Charlton Athletic are interested in signing the winger, who has seven goals in 32 Championship and Premiership games for the Gers.

Forrester joined Rangers in 2016 under Mark Warburton, snubbing a move to Southend in the process according to The Scottish Sun.
And although Brown claims that he would be interested in rekindling a switch if the interest was mutual, the former Hull manager suggests that there might be no need for him after already signing Michael Kightly.
He told The Southend Echo: “Harry poured cold water on it but if we could rekindle it then of course I would still be interested,” said Brown.
“But we’ve spent our money in that area now with Michael Kightly and we need a centre-back and a holding midfielder more than anything else.”
Three goals and two assists in 21 Premiership games last season might suggest that Forrester is not good enough to help Rangers get to where they need to be.
And, being honest, Caixinha is probably justified in reportedly telling him that he has no future with the Glasgow giants, but it remains to be seen where he goes.
