
Some Leeds fans on social media have been reacting after Rodrigo addressed rumours that he’s unhappy at Leeds United and wants to leave.
Some reports from less than reputable sources have claimed that Rodrigo wanted out at Leeds after falling down the pecking order at Elland Road, but the Spaniard has assured the fanbase that this isn’t the case.
Rodrigo wrote on his Instagram “I’m not a person to comment on nonsense stories, however in this case I want to make it clear that stories about me wanting to leave Leeds and a bad relationship with Marcelo are false. I am very sorry that some people try to misinform our fans – my feelings are the opposite.”
This post was then shared on Leeds’ official Twitter account, and as you can imagine, supporters had plenty to say about this update.
Understandably, supporters were happy to hear that the club-record signing isn’t looking to leave Elland Road anytime soon, and it seemed as though there was a serious sense of relief amongst the fanbase.
Unfortunately, nonsense rumours are part and parcel of being a Premier League club, but Rodrigo has cleared up his future plans, and it seems as though we can write off any notion of him leaving Leeds.
