Tottenham Hotspur right-back Matt Doherty has said on the club’s official website that his Spurs teammate Richarlison could win the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Brazil.
Doherty was impressed by Tottenham forward Richarlison’s performance for Brazil against Serbia in Group G on Thursday evening.
The former Everton star scored both the goals, as Brazil won 2-0.
The second goal from Richarlison was superb, as he found the net with a stunning acrobatic effort.
Doherty believes that Richarlison could win the World Cup with Brazil.
The Republic of Ireland international right-back has added that the former Watford star works extremely hard.

Doherty said: “Richarlison! Brazil were very impressive in the second half against Serbia, and our boy Richy with the goal of tournament so far!
“His record with Brazil is phenomenal (that’s nine goals in six caps in 2022) and he could bring them the World Cup. He works his socks off and what a nice guy, he deserves everything positive that comes his way.”

Growing and developing
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur and Brazil international forward Richarlison is still growing and developing as a player, and that is very scary.
After all, the forward is only 25.
The former Everton star started ahead of Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus for Brazil, and that shows the quality that he has.
And he delivered.
Brazil have one of the strongest teams at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, especially in attack, and they are certainly one of the biggest favourites to win the tournament.
