Liverpool supporters and even Arsenal fans were impressed with the showing Mo Salah produced on Monday night as he helped his side to a 3-1 win over the Gunners at Anfield.
Salah didn’t get on the scoresheet last night, but that didn’t stop him from providing an assist for his partner in crime Sadio Mane.
Kieran Tierney struggled to deal with Salah’s pace and strength as the left-footed speedster laid it on a plate for Mane, who at the time, equalised for his team.
Even though he was playing for the opposition, even the Arsenal supporters understood the difficult time the Egyptian was providing them on the right-hand side.
And the Anfield faithful, who have seen these types of performances, week in and week out, were treated to yet another display of fast-paced magic from their forward.
It has been a frightening start to the season from Salah, who netted a hat-trick on the opening day against Leeds, and he is now seemingly taking his game to another level.
Liverpool’s trophies under Jurgen Klopp
- Champions League
2018/19
- UEFA Super Cup
2019
- FIFA Club World Cup

- Premier League
2019/20
A section of Arsenal supporters spoke about the ‘elite mentality’ he has, whilst the Liverpool fans pointed out how the creative side of his game goes unnoticed.
Either way, Salah is causing havoc in the final third once more and the next set of Premier League defenders will do well to stop him from having a say in his next game.
