If reports are to be believed, then Rangers wingers Ryan Kent is a player Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa is desperate for.
The Scottish Sun reported in April that Leeds made two bids for Kent last summer, but Steven Gerrard’s Rangers turned down them.
However, that has not deterred the Whites, who are reportedly planning to make another offer this summer.
This time, though, Leeds will reportedly have to increase their bid to £15 million.
Kent has had a wonderful season for Rangers, helping the Gers win the Scottish Premiership title and also reach the Europa League Round of 16.
The former Liverpool winger – described as “phenomenal” by ex-Rangers striker Kris Boyd on Sky Sports in April 2021 – has been rewarded for his displays with a place in the SPFL Premiership Team of the Season.
As you can see from the tweet below, the 24-year-old winger has been recognised as one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership this past season.
It is deserved, too.
The winger made 32 starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers this past season.
The Rangers no.14 scored eight goals and gave seven assists in those games.
In the Europa League, Kent scored two goals and provided two assists in 10 matches.
The big question now is whether Kent would be willing to leave Rangers for Leeds.
Remember, the Gers could play in the Champions League next season.
