According to Milan News, AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has turned down Tottenham Hotspur.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the goalkeeper, but the 21-year-old has said no to both the French giants and Spurs.
The Italy international is now set to sign a new contract and has instructed his agent to sort out a new deal, according to the report.
Blow for Tottenham Hotspur?
Hugo Lloris is the first-choice goalkeeper at Tottenham at the moment, and although the Frenchman is a very good custodian, the North London outfit need someone younger who can push him next season and beyond.
Donnarumma is one of the best young goalkeepers in the world, and has been described as “phenomenal” and “a huge talent” by his Milan teammate Asmir Begovic – on loan at the Rossoneri from Bournemouth at the moment – in The Guardian.
Donnarumma reportedly turning down Tottenham is a blow for the North London outfit, as he could have been a star for the North London outfit for years.
