LIV Golf are taking real steps to upgrade their line-up ahead of the 2026 season.
Victor Perez has committed to the league, while Laurie Canter made the same decision even after earning a spot on the PGA Tour.
Perez will suit up for Cleeks GC, and Canter is set to join Majesticks GC next season.
Meanwhile, Si Woo Kim looks close to finalising his move as well, with Ironheads GC expected to be his new team.
Kim would instantly become one of LIV’s most accomplished players. He holds four PGA Tour titles and was a key part of South Korea’s win at last year’s Presidents Cup.
And there were rumours that one of his PGA Tour countrymen could also make the switch to the Saudi-backed league. However, that buzz was recently dismissed.
LIV Golf rumours debunked by Sungjae Im

The South Korean player who confirmed he will not be making the move is Sungjae Im, a two-time PGA Tour winner.
Im’s caddie had already joked about the rumours, and now the golfer himself has addressed them directly on social media.
The 2020 Masters runner-up posted a report of his supposed move to LIV on Instagram with a short message: “Fake news.”
Sungjae Im’s PGA Tour plans and career achievements so far
Im has put together a strong record at Augusta National, finishing T5 at the Masters this year, T8 in 2022, and T2 back in 2020.
He also finished inside the top 10 at last year’s Open Championship, coming in seventh at Royal Troon.
The South Korean looks set to stay and add to his tally on the PGA Tour for 2026. He already has two wins: the 2020 Honda Classic and the 2021 Shriners Children’s Open.
This season, he made the cut in 20 of his 28 starts, picked up three top-10 finishes, and ended up T27 in the FedExCup standings. His overall earnings sit just under $35 million since joining the tour in 2019.
