Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has admitted to Sky Sports that they are not yet as fluid as they should be.
The Gunners secured their second win of the season on Saturday as they beat Southampton 2-1 at the Emirates.
It was a hard fought victory for Arsene Wenger’s men, who required a controversial late penalty from Santi Cazorla to come back from a goal down after Petr Cech’s own goal.
It is fair to say that they were not at their best in the game as they struggled to truly test Saints ‘keeper Fraser Forster.

And Cech has admitted that they are not at their fluid best yet but will strive to improve.
“Our game is not as fluent as it could be and it should be,” he told Sky Sports.
“But I think we are getting the results that we need and this is the most important. We are happy with the three points and we go game by game and try to improve every day.”

Arsene Wenger will certainly be hoping that his side can continue to improve and continue picking up the points in future.
While the performance was not the best, he is likely to be pleased by the fact they have demonstrated the kind of grit and determination needed to grind out the more difficult wins.
That is something they will need if they are to be successful this season, and the Frenchman will be hoping his side can show more of it in future.
