Derby County have been heavily linked with Marcus Maddison this summer.
Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has suggested that Derby County have not shown an interest in Marcus Maddison this summer.
Derby have been one of the teams heavily linked with Maddison in recent weeks.
However, MacAnthony feels that the Rams are not interested in Posh’s attacking midfielder, as Gary Rowett is in charge.
Derby appear to be searching for a creator, but Leicester City’s Tom Lawrence is their main target.
Maddison, meanwhile, continues to be linked with a move away from Peterborough, but has remained a key part of Grant McCann’s squad over pre-season.
Maddison has played a starring role for Posh in their friendly matches so far this summer, and is expected to start for McCann’s side in their opening match of the season which comes against Plymouth Argyle.
Derby are set to start their competitive campaign on Friday evening, when they take on Sunderland.
