Leeds United defender Tyler Denton left Elland Road this summer to join Peterborough United on loan.

Denton has joined Posh on loan from Leeds for the season, but the transfer could yet be made a permanent one.
The left-back has enjoyed an impressive pre-season, and the Leeds youngster has already been told that his move to Posh could become a long-term one.
“Tyler Denton was one that came up and the gaffer [Steve Evans] knows well. I’m really glad we did that deal. I’ve already said to Tyler that down the line, maybe we could sign you and that could happen.”
Denton and Evans worked together during the Peterborough manager’s brief spell at Leeds.
Denton is likely to get plenty of game time over the coming campaign with Posh, as he competes with Colin Daniel for a place in Evans’ line-up.

The Leeds youngster has scored twice and claimed a couple of assists over pre-season, so certainly has a chance of starting in the first game of the season.
Posh take on Bristol Rovers in their opening match of the new campaign, while Denton’s parent club, Leeds, take on Stoke City.
