Leeds United, Aston Villa and Sheffield United have all been linked with Marcus Maddison in recent times.
Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has admitted to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire that he has already received interest from Championship clubs in Marcus Maddison.

Maddison is currently on the transfer list at Posh, as he is in the final year of his contract.
And when asked whether Posh had received any interest in Maddison, MacAnthony responded: “Yeah, of course we are. The Championship has just finished, and there has been phone calls.
“We’ve had offers for a few players, but nothing that has interested me yet.”
Leeds came close to signing Maddison last year, but failed to complete a transfer at the last minute, when Massimo Cellino pulled out of the deal.
Villa are also known to have been tracking Maddison for some time, with his performances impressing in League One.
The former Newcastle United trainee has been Posh’s most productive attacking player this season, in what has been a slightly disappointing campaign for Grant McCann’s side.
Maddison scored nine goals and claimed 17 assists, but could not inspire Posh beyond mid-table this term.
