The two Tottenham Hotspur youth internationals have the chance to get some first team football under their belt at the Posh.
Tottenham’s Nathan Oduwa
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed on the club’s website that two of the club’s talented youngsters have joined Peterborough United, with Luke McGee and Nathan Oduwa, both 20, signing on loan until January 2017.
Announced before Pau Lopez confirmed his move, McGee’s departure was interesting considering he was then the club’s third choice goalkeeper, and has been on the bench with captain Hugo Lloris out injured.
It was a hint that Tottenham’s much reported interest in Espanyol goalkeeper Lopez was to solidify before the transfer deadline later in the evening, with the Evening Standard suggesting as much earlier in the day.

The Posh will be delighted to bring in McGee after first choice goalkeeper Ben Alnwick expressed his interest in leaving the club, with veteran Mark Tyler and graduate Dion-Curtis Henry the only other options between the sticks. McGee is set to make his professional debut while at the club.
In Nathan Oduwa they will also be receiving an attacking midfielder of huge natural talent who could make a big impression if he finds his focus.
The Nigeria Under-23 man, who initially wowed at Rangers in a loan spell last season before returning to London in the New Year, has been linked with leaving Spurs, but should now be set to excite fans at London Road.
