Peterborough teenager Leo Da Silva Lopes has been linked with Tottenham.
According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are leading the race to sign Peterborough United teenager Leo Da Silva Lopes, ahead of three Premier League rivals.
Da Silva Lopes, 17, joined Peterborough’s academy at the age of 14, and the Lisbon-born winger has now become a first team player at the ABAX Stadium.

After 19 appearances for the Posh last season, Da Silva Lopes has scored once in 13 games so far this season – and his performances appear to have triggered major interest.
The Sun report that Arsenal, Liverpool and Southampton are all keen on the pacey Portuguese winger, but they are believed to trail Tottenham in the race for his signature.

Spurs have become known for their development of young players under Mauricio Pochettino, and they appear to have lined up winger Da Silva Lopes as the latest talent they want to take to White Hart Lane.
Intriguingly, Spurs appear to have a strong relationship with Peterborough; they not only sold striker Shaquille Coulthirst to the Posh in January, but loaned out Luke McGee and Nathan Oduwa to the League One side over the summer as well – and may now hope to use those links to tie up a deal for Da Silva Lopes.

After the links emerged, Peterborough fans took to Twitter to discuss the teenager’s future, with some claiming that a fee of up to £10m should be demanded, as well as a loan move back to the club.
Other suggested that they would love to see goalkeeper McGee join Peterborough on a permanent basis in part-exchange, with many calling on owner Darragh MacAnthony to make sure that Lopes comes back on loan for up to two years if he is sold to Spurs in January.
