The experienced defender played for the Queens Park Rangers Under-23s on Monday.
Sebastien Bassong has joined Peterborough United, just days after appearing for the Queens Park Rangers Under-23s.
Bassong has signed a contract until the end of January with Posh, having spent more than a year without a club.
The former Norwich City centre-back has however played regularly for QPR’s second string this season and is in “great shape”, according to the R’s director of football, Les Ferdinand, via the Peterborough chairman, Darragh MacAnthony.
The Peterborough manager, Steve Evans, also claims to have watched Bassong in action for QPR.
Bassong played Premier League football for Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Norwich, and has 15 caps for the Cameroon national team.
Another trialist, Lewis Walker, also featured for QPR U23s this week, although it remains to be seen if the former Derby County striker will be offered a deal by the London club.
