Nottingham Forest midfielder Jorge Grant and Paudie O’Connor of Leeds United will not join Peterborough United, says Darragh MacAnthony.

Jorge Grant is unlikely to get much playing time at Nottingham Forest, and Paudie O’Connor will find it tough to feature regularly for Leeds United next season.
Both Grant and O’Connor are very talented and promising young players, and the 23-year-old Forest midfielder and the 20-year-old Leeds central defender could do with having a loan spell during the 2018-19 campaign.
Playing for a Championship club on loan would be great for the Forest and the Leeds youngsters, while a spell in League One would not be bad either.

One club where Grant and O’Connor will not find themselves next season are Peterborough United.

Peterborough narrowly missed out on a place in the League One playoffs last season, and they would be aiming to clinch a spot in the top six during the 2018-19 campaign under manager Steve Evans, who was in charge of Leeds from October 2015 until the end of the 2015-16 season.
Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony, though, has ruled out signing either Grant or O’Connor in the summer transfer window.
MacAnthony has earlier suggested that he likes Forest midfielder Grant on social networking site Twitter (click here to read more), but he has now ruled out making a move for the 23-year-old.
The Peterborough chairman has also stated on Twitter that he has no interest in O’Connor, who will leave Leeds on loan after signing a new contract, as reported by The Mirror (click here to read more).
