Leeds United are keen on signing Marcus Maddison. Could a deal still be done this month?

Leeds United have a way to sign Marcus Maddison still this month after his chairman admitted he could still leave.
Peterborough’s Darragh MacAnthony responded to a question on Twitter over the weekend, confirming the winger could be available on a loan with an agreement to buy.
Maddison was transfer listed in the summer with Peterborough happy to cash in.
He was once again left out of Peterborough’s matchday squad this weekend.

MacAnthony was asked specifically about Leeds at the weekend, to which he joked they may not need him after their blistering start to the season.
Maddison scored 12 goals in all competitions for Peterborough last season, and is desperate to step up a level.
The Nottingham Post report he has a £2.5 million asking price, but because the transfer window is closed, any move now would have to be a loan, with an agreement to pay the fee in January.
