The Tottenham Hotspur loanee is excelling for his current club.
Peterborough United manager Grant McCann has been speaking about Tottenham Hotspur loanee Luke McGee, with his comments published by Peterborough Today.
The 21-year-old has been in superb form since arriving at the League One side from Spurs. However his current contract expires in January and the Posh boss is trying everything in his power to keep the player for the second half of the campaign.

In fact, he has even pleaded with his own fans to help in a surprising way.
“Posh fans should stop voting him Player of the Month,” McCann told Peterborough Today. “Luke is in the public eye too much.
“We don’t want other clubs realising how good he is.”
McGee has featured 15 times for the club to date, having previously earned his spurs in Tottenham’s under-23 side, for whom he featured 25 times.

He has a long way to go before he is challenging current Tottenham number one Hugo Lloris, yet his performances for Peterborough this season mean he is unlikely to be short of minutes any time soon, even if it is away from White Hart Lane.
Tottenham have a number of exciting young ‘keepers on their books and on recent evidence McGee is doing everything possible to force his way to the top of that particular pile.
