Everton drew with Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.

Everton continued their impressive run of form under new manager Sam Allardyce on Saturday afternoon, as they held Chelsea to a goalless draw at home.

Chelsea have a much better team than Everton do and headed into the Premier League game at Goodison Park as favourites.

However, the Toffees were defensively very strong and kept the Chelsea attackers at bay.

In the end, the Merseyside outfit deservedly picked up a point from the game against Antonio Conte’s side.

Former Everton defensive midfielder Peter Reid was impressed with the final result, and so was Neville Southall, although the former Toffees goalkeeper did admit that the football was not great to watch.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Everton had 32% of the possession, took five shots of which none was on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Everton had 68% of the possession, took 25 shots of which eight were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.
