West Bromwich Albion-owned Salomon Rondon scored the winner for Newcastle United against Huddersfield Town.

Peter Ramage has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez’s reaction immediately after the final whistle against Huddersfield Town.

Newcastle got the better of Huddersfield 1-0 away from home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Salomon Rondon, signed on loan from Championship club West Bromwich Albion in the summer transfer window, scored the only goal of the match in the 55th minute.

Former Newcastle defender Ramage was amused with how manager Benitez reacted to the win, while Magpies’ legend Alan Shearer is pleased at the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes on Saturday afternoon, visitors Newcastle had just 26% of the possession, took eight shots of which five were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.

The win against Huddersfield means that Newcastle are now 14th in the Premier League table with 16 points from 17 matches, as many as six points above the relegation zone.

The Magpies will take on Fulham at St. James’ Park in the Premier League next weekned.
