Former West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie insists he is more than an impact substitute.
Stoke City’s Peter Odemwingie
After giving the deadline day rush a swerve, Peter Odemwingie remains a free agent and is looking for a club.
Odemwingie was released by Stoke City in the summer and was loaned out previously to Bristol City last season, where he scored twice in seven appearances.

The 35-year-old has previously played for Cardiff City and West Bromwich Albion, the latter of which where he enjoyed the most success, scoring 26 goals across the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons.
He almost played for QPR too, attempting to sign for them on deadline day previously only to very publicly miss out.
Odemwingie may be getting on a bit, but he is not lacking in confidence, and when asked about re-signing for West Brom to play an impact substitute role, he offered an amusing response.
Odemwingie may be confident in his ability still, but he is still waiting for the right offer, and may not be able to be too picky.
The veteran would have to compete with Salomon Rondon and Saido Berahino up front if he returned to the Baggies, although could find there is a spot open due to Rickie Lambert’s departure on loan.
