Rangers got the better of Motherwell 2-0 at the Fir Park Stadium in the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers went down to 10 men after just five minutes when Michael O’Halloran was sent off. Scott McDonald was dismissed for Motherwell in the 27th minute.
Kenny Miller put Rangers in the lead in the 72nd minute, and Emerson Hyndman added the second just three minutes before full time.
Former Rangers attacker Lovenkrands was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Fir Park Stadium on Saturday afternoon, hosts Motherwell had 46% of the possession, took nine shots of which three were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Rangers had 54% of the possession, took 19 shots of which nine were on target, and earned 13 corners, according to BBC Sport.
Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 42 points from 22 matches, 19 points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have a game in hand.
