Glasgow Rangers’ youngsters continued to show why the future is bright at Ibrox with a stunning win.

Peter Lovenkrands has taken to Twitter to laud Rangers’ under-19 side after the Gers stormed to a stunning 5-0 victory over Hamburg in Germany, with Andrew Dallas receiving particular praise from the coach.
It is no secret that Rangers are doing some fantastic work with their academy, and the youngsters undoubtedly gave first-team boss Steven Gerrard another nudge with a superb performance on Tuesday.
Dallas stole the headlines with a hat-trick, but it was also a notable occasion for Cammy Palmer and Serge Atakayi. Palmer celebrated being included in the provisional first-team squad for their recent League Cup win over Ayr by getting on the scoresheet, while Atakayi continued his impressive run in front of goal.
The result may not make up for the first-team’s defeat to Livingston at the weekend, but it may perhaps restore some of the positivity that was lost from Gerrard’s side.

It appears that a number of youngsters are ready to follow the likes of Glenn Middleton, Stephen Kelly and perhaps even Palmer into the first-team.
And following the game, Lovenkrands took to social media to laud the youngsters involved in the game, suggesting that all of the players could be proud of their displays.

Here is Lovenkrands’ reaction to the result…
