Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have a potential gem in Glenn Middleton.

Peter Lovenkrands has praised the Rangers’ development team for their “outstanding” 6-0 demolition of their Leicester City equivalents today.
The Gers youngsters obliterated their English counterparts away from home, with Stephen Kelly, Zak Rudden [3], Liam Burt and Glenn Middleton among the goalscorers.
Middleton is making quite a name for himself in the youth ranks, with the 18-year-old arguably the most exciting prospect coming through after joining from Norwich City.
And Lovenkrands, an academy coach with Rangers now along with Billy Kirkwood, has admitted that the teenager is “doing really well.”

Middleton has been stacking up a number of goals and assists since joining in January and signing him might well be a masterstroke.
After all, he is a boyhood Rangers fan and he certainly has the hunger – and talent – to make waves in the senior side if and when he reaches that level.
For now, it is important for he and the likes of Zak Rudden to remain grounded. It’s a big step up in class to the big time and time will tell how they manage it.
