Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have the luxury of Peter Lovenkrands coaching the academy lads, and the Dane has a clear message for them.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, Peter Lovenkrands has stressed the importance of Rangers players enjoying every second of what he says is always a short career in football.
The 38-year-old, who spent six successful years at Ibrox as a player, is now Rangers’ head development squad coach at Auchenhowie.
The Danish legend is helping to prepare the next generation of Gers stars for the prospect of playing first-team football with the Scottish giants.
It’s often said by former professionals that their career often passes in the blink of an eye, and Lovenkrands is hoping that the young lads at Rangers will savour every moment of their playing days to avoid looking back in regret.

“I keep telling the young boys at Rangers that a footballer’s career goes so quickly,” he told The Daily Mail.
“One minute you are starting out, then the next you are finishing up. So you have to appreciate what you’ve got when you are still playing.”
Having someone of Lovenkrands’s experience can only be a good thing for Rangers’ stars of tomorrow.
The former Newcastle star won six major titles during his six-year stint in Glasgow, including two Premiership titles. He is well equipped to dole out wisdom and hopefully for the players’ sake, they listen.
