Peter Crouch has tweeted that Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Arsenal last night was ‘never in doubt’.

Crouch was in attendance at the Emirates Stadium, as Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side picked up a 2-0 victory in the Carabao Cup.

And Crouch enjoyed watching his former Tottenham side pick up a victory in the North London derby.

Tottenham had only previously won once before at the Emirates Stadium, but they were the dominant force last night.

Spurs opened the scoring in the first half when Heung Min-Son raced clear of the Arsenal defence and finished well.

Pochettino’s men then added a second when Dele Alli clipped in a delicate chip to secure Spurs’ progress.

Tottenham will now take on Chelsea in the semi-final, as they look to win their first piece of silverware since 2008.
