Reported Manchester United target Jadon Sancho could end up at Liverpool, suggests Peter Crouch.

Peter Crouch has suggested in The Daily Mail that Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho would be a good signing for Liverpool despite being linked with Manchester United.

The former Liverpool striker believes that Sancho is set to become a superstar, and he believes that the 19-year-old winger could end up at Anfield.

The England international has been linked with Manchester United, with Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc telling Amazon Prime documentary ‘Inside Borussia Dortmund’ that the former Manchester City prospect’s agent met with the Red Devils.

Crouch wrote in The Daily Mail: “Then there is Jadon Sancho. What he did to launch his career deserves huge praise.

“It couldn’t have been easy leaving England to play club football in Germany, but he looks destined to become a superstar and I thought he was superb against Kosovo.”

Crouch added: “All being well, he will return to the Premier League. Clubs will be queuing up to sign him and while there has been noise about him joining Manchester United, I wonder whether Liverpool might actually be the perfect fit. It would not surprise me to see him at Anfield.”

Future Liverpool signing?

Sancho left City in 2017 after being unable to break into Pep Guardiola’s side, but he has been superb for Dortmund in Germany.

The winger is playing regularly in the Bundesliga and in Europe, and there is no surprise that the teenager has already earned eight caps for England.

The 19-year-old can only get better in the coming years, and one should not be surprised if he does end up at Liverpool soon.
