Stoke City striker Peter Crouch was impressed with Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold’s performance against Manchester City in the Champions League.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool striker made the prediction following the performance of Alexander-Arnold against Manchester City in midweek.
The 19-year-old right-back was superb for the Reds in their 3-0 victory over Premier League rivals City at Anfield in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie.
Stoke striker Crouch has been following the England Under-21 international this season, and he believes that the youngster will be a long-term success.

Crouch wrote about Alexander-Arnold in The Daily Mail: “A brilliant performance against Manchester City.
“I have been watching him all season and I think he will go to the top. He is a kid with talent and a brilliant attitude.”

Alexander-Arnold is a very talented and promising young right-back, and the performance of the 19-year-old against City at Anfield underlines his quality.
There have been occasions this season when the youngster has not played well, but there is no doubt that the teenager has improved as the season has progressed.
The Englishman has made 14 starts in the Premier League and five in the Champions League for Liverpool so far this season.
