Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has praised Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min in The Daily Mail.

The former Tottenham striker has been impressed with the performances of Son this season.

Crouch – who joined Stoke from Spurs in the summer of 2011 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £12 million – believes that the 26-year-old – who can operate as a winger or as forward – is as important as his Tottenham teammate Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli.

The Stoke striker has also said that Son will be missed by Tottenham when he is off to the Asian Cup to play for South Korea.

Crouch wrote in The Daily Mail: “I love watching him play. He is becoming as important for Tottenham as Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli. He is such a threat and will be missed when he goes to the Asia Cup later this month.”
