Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar’s performance against Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic in the Champions League impressed Stoke City striker Peter Crouch.

Neymar starred for PSG in their 7-1 hammering of Celtic at home in the Champions League.
The 25-year-old Brazil international forward scored twice for the Parisian club and had a great game overall.
The former Barcelona star has been in superb form for PSG since his move to the French club in the summer transfer window.
Stoke striker Crouch was impressed with the performance of Neymar for Celtic in Paris in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

“He was ridiculous against Celtic,” Crouch wrote about Neymar in The Daily Mail. “He looks hungrier and more selfish in terms of wanting goals than he was at Barcelona.
“He’s gone up a level with PSG and if he leads them to the Champions League — they are definitely potential winners — you could see him winning the Ballon D’Or.”

Neymar has scored six goals and provided three assists in five Champions League appearances for PSG so far this season, according to WhoScored.

Celtic took the lead against PSG in Paris, but the Bhoys’ backline failed to keep out the likes of Neymar and Edinson Cavani.
